Amina Aretha Fola-Rose
Head of School - Ms. Fola-Rose is a life-long learner who enjoys teaching students of all ages. She has married her over 10 years of corporate experience in banking, finance, and risk management with her over 15 years of educational experience (as a Mathematics Teacher, Team Leader, Mentor, Master Teacher, Grants Writer, Curriculum Writer, Workshop Facilitator, and administrator) to create Nia Imani Academy of Excellence. By way of background, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance and Accounting from Florida A&M University. She has an MBA in Arts Management with concentrations in International Business and Finance from Binghamton University. She has a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University, as well as a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She is a licensed and ordained minister active in several ministries including preaching, teaching , praise leading, and praise dancing. She was a participant in the 2015 Cohort of the Harvard Graduate School of Education Women In Leadership Conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new school year! The Advisory Board and I are excited about launching the Academy and your being a part of the team that is helping to start an educational revolution.
Your commitment to a belief in the success of all children, rigorous and engaging instruction, as well as educating the whole child, makes you a very integral and influential resource. If this is your first year of teaching, your fresh ideas and energy will be invaluable. If you are a retiree who has decided to continue your work in education, your passion and maturity will be priceless. And, if you fall anywhere in between, your instructional strength and teachable spirit will secure your position as an irreplaceable member of the team.
